Inspiring Impactful Change
At HealCA.org, our aim is to make a
lasting impact in the lives of those that are unseen and forgotten in
our communities. Our initiatives and activities are designed to
catalyze true transformation in the lives of these people. Above all,
love is at the heart and soul of everything that we do.
WHAT WE DO
Strong social connections are central to our physical and mental well-being. But when vulnerable families and older adults experience setbacks, they may become disconnected and isolated.
Because the issue of economic stress and social isolation is so complex, HealCA was created to seek out solutions in collaboration with our community and volunteers. Through research and innovative efforts, we’re working to create a deeper understanding of economic stress, loneliness and isolation, draw crucial attention to the issue, and catalyze action to help families get back on their feet as well as end social isolation among older adults.
Our goal is to create a network of resources that meets the needs of anyone who is in need, isolated or lonely, and that helps build the social connections that families and older adults need to thrive.
